Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio companies, including: Business strategy and positioning Operational efficiency and competitiveness Financial performance and market dynamics Industry structure and attractiveness
  • Support the identification, evaluation and execution tracking of value creation initiatives, such as: Strategy refocusing and transformation Operational improvements and cost optimisation Balance sheet and capital structure enhancements Corporate restructuring initiatives
  • Develop and maintain robust valuation and financial models including: Sum-of-the-Parts (SOTP) analyses Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Dividend Discount Model (DDM) Trading comparables and precedent transactions Scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis
  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, with a focus on: Financial strength and key value drivers Competitive positioning Industry trends and emerging risks/opportunities
  • Engage with stakeholders, management teams and Board Directors: Support strategic discussions Provide analytical insights to inform decision-making Track execution of key initiatives
  • Support portfolio management initiatives and transaction-related workstreams, including: Due diligence, valuation, capital structure analysis
  • Research and prepare high-quality analyses, presentations, and internal memoranda to support decision making
  • Contribute to portfolio-wide value creation initiatives, including: Identifying synergies across companies Supporting organic and inorganic growth opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity / corporate finance / M&A, accounting or related fields
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities
  • Ability to communicate clearly and engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong ownership and ability to work independently
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet)
  • AI fluency, including practical use of tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot to enhance research, synthesis, analysis, and productivity
