The Technical Marketing role shapes the future direction of Singapore's semiconductor R&D landscape by synthesizing global technology signals and translating them into strategic guidance for IME's R&D investments.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor global semiconductor and system-level trends through participation in international conferences, consortia, and industry engagements.
- Synthesize insights from academic research, industry roadmaps, and competitor activities into structured analyses.
- Engage with industry partners, research collaborators, and system companies to understand emerging needs.
- Identify early inflection points in materials, integration approaches, and system architectures.
- Support the definition and evolution of IME's technology roadmap by translating external signals into strategic themes.
- Work across multiple Technology Development departments to align research programs under a coherent vision.
Requirements
- Degree in a related engineering or science discipline.
- Open to early-career PhD/Masters graduates as well as experienced professionals.
- Strong passion for semiconductor innovation.
- Ability to rapidly learn new technical domains and connect disparate ideas into coherent strategic perspectives.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage credibly with senior researchers, industry experts, and leadership.
