About the role
Senior/Lead Research Engineer responsible for wet technology process engineering in semiconductor research, focusing on wet cleaning and wet etch processes at IME's NSTIC GaN lab.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing professional process engineering research, development, and evaluation in support of the IME's variety of programs requirements such as semiconductor wet cleaning and wet etch process
- May conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new materials, concepts and approaches in the processing or development of new processes.
- Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process specifications.
- Championing engineering experiments for process characterization to drive for quality and yield improvement
- Setup and collect the experimental data and generate reports for both internal and customer distribution.
- Design and complete DOE evaluations to characterize process window for new requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor / Masters degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant work experience in semiconductor process engineering.
- Prior experience in wet etch/wet clean processes is preferred
- A safety mindset is the most prerequisite for this position.
- Hands-on experience in designing and executing experiments (DOE), statistical and cause analysis, and problem-solving methods
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
