This is a senior-level consulting role focused on driving supply chain and operations transformations for clients in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex supply chain transformation projects for high-tech and semiconductor clients.
- Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies covering procurement, manufacturing, and distribution.
- Analyze client business processes to identify operational bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
- Facilitate senior-level client workshops and presentations in both English and Japanese.
- Drive the adoption of digital supply chain tools and ERP systems to enhance visibility and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and Japanese-speaking leadership teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise in lean manufacturing and operational excellence methodologies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in business consulting or supply chain operations management.
- Proven track record working within the semiconductor, electronics, or industrial manufacturing industries.
- Full professional fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2) and English is essential for business communication.
- Strong functional knowledge of ERP and SCM platforms such as SAP IBP or Oracle SCM.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale organizational change and process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical field.
- Deep understanding of supply chain planning, procurement, and logistics best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as required for project delivery.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring junior consulting staff.
