Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence projects for financial services clients
- Analyze historical financial data and financial statements to assess quality of earnings and net assets
- Manage project teams and supervise the work of seniors and associates throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Identify and communicate key deal issues, risks, and opportunities to client stakeholders
- Collaborate with other service lines such as tax and strategy to deliver comprehensive deal advice
- Participate in business development activities including the preparation of proposals and pursuit materials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study
- Approximately 5 or more years of experience in transaction advisory, audit, or corporate finance
- Active CPA or equivalent professional certification is required
- Deep industry knowledge of financial services sectors including banking, insurance, or asset management
- Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS
- Advanced analytical capabilities and expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional report writing
- Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior professional staff
- Willingness and ability to travel to meet client and project needs
