The Associate Director/Director of Financial Diligence at EY-Parthenon leads financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients. Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial due diligence engagements throughout the transaction lifecycle for corporate and private equity clients
- Analyze historical financial data to identify key deal drivers, trends, and potential risks
- Manage and mentor project teams to ensure high-quality delivery of financial analysis and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and operational diligence workstreams
- Prepare and present comprehensive due diligence reports and findings to client executive leadership
- Identify valuation impacts and negotiate adjustments based on financial findings
- Drive business development activities and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders
- Oversee the quality of earnings, working capital, and net debt analyses for target companies
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial due diligence, audit, or transaction advisory services
- Proven track record of managing complex financial projects and multi-disciplinary teams
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP or IFRS and financial statement analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously under tight transaction deadlines
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
