Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pursuits in assigned focus areas as a product, services, software, or solution specialist
  • Collaborate with and support Account Managers by providing specialist expertise within the sales team
  • Drive proactive campaigns to build the sales pipeline
  • Use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities
  • Manage assigned named accounts, designated geographies, or high-potential competitive attack accounts
  • Act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities
  • Facilitate information validation and the team decision-making process

Requirements

  • Developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse complexity and scope
  • Capability to exercise independent judgment to identify and select solutions
  • Ability to handle unique business situations and seek advice on complex issues
  • Experience in prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities
  • Capacity to provide specialist expertise within a broader sales team
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with an expectation of 2 days per week in an HPE office
