The Robotics Autonomy Lab In DSO's Robotics Division develops a wide range of robotics autonomy technologies for ground, maritime and aerial aobots. We are looking for Robotics Autonomy Research Engineers to advance the frontier of robotics autonomy in these areas:
  • Localisation & Calibration: Sensor-based odometry, SLAM, map-based localisation, decentralised collaborative SLAM, multi-sensor calibration
  • Perception: Environment mapping, moving object tracking and trajectory prediction, semantic mapping, scene graphs
  • Motion Planning & Controls: Trajectory planning and tracking, reinforcement learning for planning and controls
  • Mission Autonomy: Learning of behaviours for a single robot or a multi-robot team/swarm to achieve a given task, decentralised task allocation, planning and scheduling.   • Design, develop and deploy algorithms for different types of ground, maritime and aerial robots

Requirements

  • PhD / Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical and Computer Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering • Strong theoretical and applied skills in robotics and machine learning • Strong programming skills in C / C++ / Python • Hands-on experience in robotics projects
