About the role
AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Subsea Engineering team to lead global submarine cable projects. The role involves planning, contracting, building, and operating the AWS subsea backbone, working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver submarine cable projects globally
- Represent and lead for Amazon in deployment and operational meetings
- Coordinate complex projects spanning several geographies
- Ensure projects meet high standards and specifications
- Drive cross-functional programs
- Define contractual framework for submarine capacity
Requirements
- Direct knowledge and experience in the subsea telecoms cable industry
- Knowledge and experience with submarine cable systems
- 5+ years of program or project management experience (preferred)
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams (preferred)
- Marine survey, cable route engineering and cable installation experience (preferred)
