Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for regulatory filings, primarily in the Asia Pacific region
- Analyze complex and novel issues with high visibility
- Work independently to deliver results and frequently collaborate with various legal and other stakeholders on strategic decisions
- Work closely with technical teams, regulatory teams, business teams, and other legal teams
- Learn the technical details of the innovative constellation, satellites, software, and ground-based infrastructure
- Strategize about the best ways to work with regulators to benefit customers, particularly those in unserved and underserved communities
Requirements
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Law degree and admission to relevant bar association
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience with satellite communications and regulatory filings
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, oral)
- Background in technology law, telecommunications law, regulatory matters, or international business matters
