About the role
The CPI APAC Program Manager oversees the end-to-end execution of critical infrastructure retrofit programs across AWS data centers in the APAC region. This role involves managing complex electrical, mechanical, and building automation projects within live operational environments to optimize power, space, and cooling utilization.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end execution roadmap for a portfolio of small, lower-complexity retrofit programs across the APAC region
- Manage programs encompassing electrical, mechanical, structural, fire detection, and building automation systems
- Define and deliver infrastructure technology programs with cross-organizational and cross-regional impact
- Design innovative solutions to address operational challenges across APAC sub-regions while partnering globally when applicable
- Evaluate, identify, and implement tools and technologies that increase project management efficiencies
- Drive adoption of automation and workflow improvements across the team
- Manage cross-functional communication with partner teams including but not limited to Engineering, Operations, and Procurement
- Drive process improvement within the broader Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
- Experience with power management and power monitoring systems
- 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of critical data center equipment
- Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA
- Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure
- Ability to work both as an independent contributor and within multi-disciplinary teams
