About the role

Mid-level Technical Infrastructure Program Manager role within AWS Global Connectivity Infrastructure Development, focused on managing regional interconnection programs across APAC. Responsible for optimizing traffic management, capacity planning, peering/caching deployments, and external partner relationships to ensure reliable AWS service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional leadership and stakeholders to provide regular program updates, track operational progress, and drive resolution of implementation challenges
  • Execute regional traffic management optimization and capacity planning initiatives by working with engineering and operations teams, ensuring effective implementation of established solutions and performance metrics
  • Support peering and cache deployment programs through coordination of technical deliverables, partner onboarding, and alignment of implementation plans with regional Business Development requirements
  • Manage external partner relationships and delivery quality through structured reviews, capacity planning discussions, and performance tracking to ensure service reliability standards
  • Drive network and CDN optimization efforts by facilitating data analysis, stakeholder discussions, and implementation of improvement measures across regional infrastructure
  • Lead multiple regional projects simultaneously, managing interdependencies and stakeholder communications while maintaining clear documentation of decisions and progress
  • Build cross-regional collaboration through knowledge sharing initiatives, best practice implementation, and industry engagement activities that strengthen AWS's regional presence

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a program management capacity and/or leading large-scale complex projects
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Experience in making data driven business decisions
  • 5+ years of technical experience with IP Networking and BGP routing in large-scale environments including ISPs, Content Providers or CDNs
